Morning Reminder- Visualize

Today’s reminder comes from Robert Collier.  If you’re stuck on a project, or afraid to go towards a dream, this one is for you.

“Visualize this thing you want. See it, feel it, believe in it.  Make your mental blueprint and begin.”

We often get stuck and paralyzed by fear.

Our minds can concoct so many reasons why we should not follow this dream or why we will fail.  It is easy to give in to these fears of failure and decide not to take any risk and instead continue as we have for so many days/weeks/months and years.

We may tell ourselves it’s too hard.  I’m too scared. I don’t even know where to begin.

But what if instead, we made the conscious decision to take baby steps in the direction that our heart is pointing?  What if we began by visualizing our dreams.  What if we began to feel what it would feel like to accomplish that dream?  What would we see/smell/feel/hear?

Sit with it for a moment.  Really put yourself in that place where you have accomplished your goal or reached your dream.  Each time you put yourself in this place, you move one step closer to manifesting the life you want.

These steps take but a few moments.  If you can sit for two minutes each day and imagine yourself at the finish line of this dream, you are beginning to tell the universe you are ready.  If you can sit for five minutes the next day you are that bit closer.

When you can begin to put yourself in the state of accomplishment at any time, you will eventually begin to believe you can do it.  This is the “fake it until you make it” plan, and at the beginning that is all you need to do.

Just keep going, keep taking a few minutes whenever your dreams come to mind until you no longer have to try.  Visualize, see, feel believe.

Eventually, you won’t be visualizing anymore, you will be there!
